Volusia County Medical Society "People Helping People"

The Volusia County Medical Society was formed with but a handful of physicians. Today, we stand 500 strong. We have dedicated physicians eager to respond to your personal needs.
The Volusia County Medical Society provides the following services to the citizens of Volusia County:

- Physician referral service
- Pamphlets on medical concerns
- Speaker's bureau to provide organizations with lectures on a variety of medical topics
- Physician volunteers for charitable organizations
- Free sports physicals for high school athletes in Volusia County
- Scholarships through the VCMS Alliance
- Participation in Health Awareness Day for area middle and high school students.
- The Mini-Internship Program where the public gets an inside view of the medical practice
- Grievance Committee to review complaints
